Revolution Tower – World Social Center (WSC)

Downtown civic center reconfiguration

Design upon the request of Tunisian President, Moncef Marzouki’s, post revolution innovation advisor. As an unprecedented project in the Arab world, the complex proposes a new public civic space associated with democratic practices: the people’s Agora, renamed as the Square of the People, the Promenade of the People, with fountains dedicated to the martyrs of the revolution, the Garden of Liberty and the Garden of Delights, WSC tower which houses spaces dedicated to social, economic, and artistic innovation. Project total area: 78 000m²
